Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009, Trend Micro Internet Security 2009, or Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2009 is currently installed on my computer, and I want to know how to uninstall the program.

Trend Micro recommends using the Diagnostic Toolkit to uninstall your 2009 product.
|
|
|
|
For instructions on how to do this, please see the steps below:
|
|
|
|
Note: If you have already uninstalled the program but find remaining components on your system, download and run the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit rather than using the one currently available on your computer. For instructions on how to do this, refer to solution EN-1037161.

1.

Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Trend Micro Internet Security > Trend Micro Support Diagnostic Toolkit.
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
This action should bring up the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit window.
|
|
|
|
|

|

Go to the [E] Uninstall tab.
|
|
|
|
|

Click 1. Uninstall software.
|
|
|
|
|

When the Trend Micro Internet Security Installer window appears to confirm the removal of your software, click Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Note: If you are not connected to the Internet, we recommend removing the tick from the checkbox beside Take survey after removing the program on this window. If you do not wish to take the survey, you can also remove the checkmark, or you can close the survey window when it appears.
|

|
|

Wait while your program is uninstalled from your computer.
|
|
|
|
|

When you see the message window informing you that the program has been uninstalled, click Restart Now to restart your computer so the changes can take effect.
