I want to uninstall or remove the Trend Micro Internet Security 16.6 for Dell program that is currently installed on my computer.

Solution: |

Trend Micro recommends using the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit to uninstall your program.
|
|
|
|
For instructions on how to use the application, please see below:
|
|
|
|
1.

Go to Start or the Windows Orb > Run.
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
On the Run window, type “tissuprt” in the field provided then hit ENTER on your keyboard or click OK.
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
Note: You can also go to My Computer or Computer > Local Disc C: > Program Files > Trend Micro > Internet Security and double-click on the TISSUPRT.exe file (indicated by a red-and-white lifesaver icon).

When the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit window appears, go to the [E] Uninstall tab and click 4. Uninstall.
|

|
|

When you are asked whether you want to continue with the program removal, click Uninstall.
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Wait for the uninstallation to finish.
|
|
|
|
|
6.
|
When the removal is complete and you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
|

|
|
|

7.
|
Wait while your system restarts.
|
|
|
|
|
