To help protect your mobile device and everything you have stored on it, Mobile Security includes the following features:

• Find My Android helps you track your lost, stolen or misplaced device on a map using GPS or wireless networks.
• Alert sounds an alarm on your lost device, even if it has been set to stay silent.
• Remote Lock stops others from using your lost device.
• Remote Wipe deletes all of the data stored on your lost device and on the memory card if you activate Mobile Security in Device administrators. Otherwise, the Remote Wipe feature deletes only the following information:
  • Contact list
  • Call history
  • Text messages
  • Account information
  • Memory card content
• SIM Card Lock stops anyone from using your mobile device if someone removes the SIM card (only your Trend Micro account password can unlock your mobile device).

To enable the Lost Device Protection feature in Mobile Security, do the following:

1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
2. On the main screen, tap Lost Device Protection.
3. Provide your Trend Micro Account password.
4. Tap Unlock.

To turn ON/OFF the Find My Android feature in Mobile Security, do the following:

1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
2. On the main screen, tap Lost Device Protection > Protection tab.
3. Select Find My Android to locate your mobile device through the website. Clear this setting if you want to stop using this feature.
4. When necessary, type your Trend Micro account password, then tap OK.

To turn ON/OFF the SIM Card Lock feature in Mobile Security, do the following:

1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
2. On the main screen, tap Lost Device Protection > Protection tab.
3. Select SIM Card Lock. This feature locks your mobile device when anyone changes or removes the SIM card. Clear this setting if you want to stop using this feature.
4. When necessary, type your Trend Micro account password, then tap OK.

   When someone changes or removes the SIM card, you need to provide your Trend Micro account password to unlock your mobile device. You can also use an unlock key which you can send to your Trend Micro account and the alternate email address from the lock screen.

To change your mobile device name, do the following:

1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
2. On the main screen, tap Lost Device Protection > Protection tab.
3. Tap the pencil icon beside Device Name.
4. Edit the device name, then tap Save.

To enable the Remote Wipe feature in Mobile Security, do the following:

1. Open the Trend Micro Mobile Security App.
2. On the main screen, tap Lost Device Protection > Remote Wipe tab.
3. Select one of the two options:
   • Partial Remote Wipe, enables your mobile device to remotely delete only your contacts, call history, text messages, account info and SD card content.
   • Full Remote Wipe, enables your mobile device to remotely delete all of the data on your mobile device.

     If you selected Full Remote Wipe, the next screen tells you that this setting will Erase all data. However, it can only do so if you manually wipe data from the Lost Device Protection web portal. No data will be erased without your action. Tap Activate on the screen that appears, then tap OK.

To lock your mobile device remotely, do the following:

1. On a computer, open a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
2. Go to the Lost Device Protection portal.
3. Log in using your Trend Micro account.
   The web portal will get the location of your mobile device and will display it on a map.
4. Once your mobile phone is located, click Lock.

To unlock your mobile device, do any the following:

• Type your Trend Micro account password on the Locked screen, then tap Unlock.
• Send an unlock key to your email addresses:
  1. Tap Email Yourself an Unlock Key to send a key to all of the email addresses associated with your Trend Micro account.
     Trend Micro™ Mobile Security automatically adds your Gmail address to your email address list.
  2. Open your email inbox, then open the message from Trend Micro.
  3. Type the key in the password field, then tap Unlock.
• Get an unlock key directly from the website:
  1. On a computer, open a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome).
  2. Go to the Lost Device Protection portal.
  3. Log in using your Trend Micro account.
  4. On the left side of the window, click Unlock Key to see a key that you can use to unlock your mobile device.
  5. On your mobile device, type the key in the password field, then tap Unlock.
